Depth of knowledge is something you've heard me talk about repeatedly since last week. The hope I have for all of you is that with practice, you become experts at asking questions and answering them. Questions that require us to look for what's immediately visible at the surface AND questions that require us to look deeper beyond what's visible.

When we ask ourselves to go deeper, what we will find is that a story like Lord of the Flies isn't just about boys stranded on an island, but is and can be about so much more than that. Continue the hard work everyone, I'm very impressed with how far you've come and how willing you are to work collaboratively and independently to grow as learners.
