This week, we will go back in time to the 1940s in New York and read an excerpt of the play "Sorry, Wrong Number" by Lucille Fletcher. It's an excellent story, masterful in the way it creates suspense and an undeniable sense of fear.
We will be focusing on making inferences and understanding the elements that drive plot. We will also start reading the class novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding. By the time we finish that novel, I'm convinced you will never see the world the same way again.
